“GDLEA” Global Accreditation Organization

Global Distance Learning Education Authority – GDLEA is a global accreditation organization which evaluates education standards of online universities and schools and awards them accreditation. Both federal and government considers accreditation to be a reliable authority on academic quality. The federal government believes on accreditation to assure the Quality of education and institutions for which the government provides federal Funds and federal aids to students. In most of the state’s Governments will initially license institutions and programs without accreditation. However, states will subsequently require accreditation to make state funds available to institutions and students. Government often requires that individuals who sit for state licensure in various professions have graduated from accredited institutions and programs.

GDLEA has awarded accreditation to more than 130 online universities, institutions and schools worldwide. Registration from GDLEA makes it sure that the academic practices of education institutions are globally accepted and are up to the standards. GDLEA has advanced evaluation standards for the assessment and awarding accreditation to Applicant University, Schools or Institutes. Initial Accreditation process takes almost one year, however, full accreditation is given after full evaluation after 5 years on the accountability report of our regional chapter committees which is based on execution of GDLEA set standards. 

 It works to increase the quality and revive standards of education for supporting globally recognized and accepted online degree programs in USA and Gulf countries. The recognition by GDLEA guarantees that the educational practices implemented at the accredited institutes are in accordance with international standards, deliver academic brilliance and follow accountability reforms which are introduced by GDLEA. 

The accrediting bodies review colleges and universities throughout the globe. They review thousands of programs in a range of professions and specialties including law, nursing, social work, pharmacy, medicine, business, arts and journalism.

Accreditation of different institutions and programs takes place on a cyclic process that may range from every few years to as many as 10 years. Accreditation is ongoing; the initial earning of accreditation is not entry to indefinite accredited status. Period wise review is a fact of life for accredited institutions and programs. Self-accreditation is not an option.

Accrediting organizations are funded mainly by annual dues from institutions and programs that are accredited and fees that institutions and programs pay for accreditation reviews. In some cases, an accrediting organization may receive financial assistance from sponsoring organizations. Accrediting organizations sometimes get funds for special initiatives from government or from private foundations.
